In the parable of the talents, two servants obeyed and did their best, but one did nothing, and it was precisely this one that Jesus said was cast into outer darkness. This should be enough to wake up any sincere Christian: the Lord does not save those who do nothing. Even so, many leaders teach that it is enough to “believe” and do nothing, as if faith without obedience were sufficient to inherit eternal life, but Jesus never taught this. The Father is pleased with those who obey the commandments revealed to the prophets who came before the Messiah and by the Messiah Himself. The faithful servant obeys, strives, honors every command of the Most High, and it is this one whom the Father sends to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. Do not follow the majority, obey while you are alive. | “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God [Old Testament] and do it” (Luke 8:21).
