There are leaders who try to justify disobedience by saying that, after the ascension of Jesus, Christians began to ignore some commandments given to the prophets of the Old Testament, such as the beard, the Sabbath, circumcision, and others. So what? The error of flawed men has now become a divine rule? The Lord never called us to imitate deviations, but to imitate His Son. The apostles and disciples, who lived with Jesus daily, lived in total faithfulness to the laws revealed before the Messiah and by the Messiah Himself. If others abandoned the Law later, that only proves the danger of the serpent, not a new path. Salvation is individual. Obey while you are still alive. | “He who says: I know Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” (1 John 2:2-6)
