Something that confirms that Jesus comes from God is that He never taught anything contrary to what the Father had already revealed through the prophets in the Old Testament. Not a single law was canceled by Him, no matter how small. On the contrary, Jesus reinforced and corrected the errors of the Jewish leaders. Both the Father and the Son remained faithful and consistent to what was taught from the beginning. However, millions in churches openly disobey God’s laws, without a drop of support from the words of Jesus in the four Gospels. They allowed themselves to be led by a heart inclined to sin and easily accepted doctrines of men that arose after Christ’s ascension. The Father does not send declared disobedient people to the Son. | “I have revealed your name to the men you gave me out of the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me; and they have obeyed your word [the Old Testament].” (John 17:6)
