A Christian cannot be light or salt to the world while living in disobedience. Light does not come from rebellion, and salt does not preserve without aligning with the Creator. Millions of people who claim to be followers of Jesus openly ignore the commandments of the Father of Jesus, believing that attending churches replaces faithfulness. However, all the apostles and disciples of Jesus obeyed God’s laws. Those who reject the commandments may even speak of Jesus, but do not reflect His light nor carry His salt. Salvation is individual. Obey while you are still alive. | Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21)
