Some use the behavior of the church after the ascension of Christ as justification to ignore clear commandments of the Most High, such as the Sabbath, circumcision, the beard, and the tzitzits, as if human rebellion had the authority to “update” God. But the Creator does not change and His Law does not change. Jesus lived in perfect faithfulness, and His apostles and disciples, taught by Him every day, followed exactly the same path. What happened years later does not define the plan of salvation; it only reveals how many allowed themselves to be deceived. The standard remains Christ. Salvation is individual. Obey while you are still alive. | “Whoever says, ‘I know him,’ but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” 1 John 2:2-5
