There is a huge difference between preaching about Jesus and preaching what Jesus preached. What He instructed in words and example, in the four gospels, is nothing like what many churches teach to the gentiles. Christ never even hinted that there is salvation for any human being, Jew or gentile, without obedience to the Father’s Law. The apostles and disciples, who learned directly from the Master, show us how Jesus wants us to live. They were faithful to the whole Law: the Sabbath, circumcision, forbidden meats, tzitzits, the beard, and all the other commandments. Salvation is individual; obey while you are alive. | The foreigner who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, thus becoming His servant… and who holds fast to My covenant, I will also bring him to My holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
