“The Lord appeared to me long ago, saying: With everlasting love I have loved you; with kindness I have drawn you” (Jeremiah 31:3).
The love of God never fails. When the night is darkest, His light remains shining; when we cross deserts, His fountain does not run dry; when tears fall, His comfort does not run out. He has promised to take care of us, and every word of His is upheld by the very power of heaven. Nothing can prevent the fulfillment of what the Most High has determined for those who belong to Him.
This assurance grows in us when we choose to live according to the Lord’s sublime commandments. They help us recognize divine care, strengthen our trust, and keep us close to the One who cannot deny Himself. Each step of obedience is an act of faith that makes room for God’s everlasting love to work in our lives.
So, rest in the faithfulness of the Most High. He does not abandon His own, fulfills every promise, and fills with strength those who walk with Him. Whoever lives in obedience discovers that the love of the Lord is always ready, becoming a source of power, hope, and salvation in Jesus. Adapted from John Jowett. Pray with me: Beloved Father, I praise You for Your everlasting love, which never fails and never runs out, even in the most difficult times.
Lord, teach me to keep Your sublime commandments so that I may live each day closer to You, trusting that Your word is fulfilled at the right time.
