“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, never abandon those who seek you” (Psalms 9:10).
The souls that grow most in intimacy with God are those who do not hide behind excuses. They do not remain trapped in the past or waste time complaining about their circumstances. On the contrary, they look back with spiritual discernment, recognizing that even in difficult times, God was there—drawing near, calling, extending His hand. These people do not deny their mistakes, but neither do they use them as a shield. They have enough humility to admit that they failed, that many times they ignored the blessings and despised God’s signs.
This kind of heart is the one that clearly hears the call of the Holy Spirit. It is a heart that does not justify itself, but surrenders. That does not seek excuses, but direction. By recognizing its condition as a creature, this soul understands that blessing, deliverance, and salvation come only through obedience. Obedience to the same laws that the Father gave to Israel—and that Jesus, through His life and teachings, confirmed as eternal, just, and good.
These souls will not be deceived by false arguments, nor will they bow to leaders who preach against God’s holy Law. They know that disobedience has never been, nor will it ever be, a path to blessing. And therefore, with faith and courage, they turn to the Creator with all their strength, determined to obey—whatever the cost. For they know that there is only one path that leads to life: faithfulness to the Father, expressed in every commandment He has given us. Pray with me: Lord, today I come before You with an open and humble heart. I no longer want to hide behind excuses or justify my failures with empty arguments. I know that at many moments I ignored Your blessings, despised Your signs, and walked in the opposite direction from Your will. But now, sincerely, I acknowledge my failures and surrender to Your call.
Holy Spirit, speak to me clearly. I do not want to resist Your voice or harden my heart. Teach me to obey the laws that the Father revealed to His people and that Jesus confirmed through His life. I want to walk on this holy path, even if the world rejects it, even if it costs me comfort, approval, or security. Your will is better than anything else.
Lord, deliver me from false teachings that despise Your Law. Give me discernment to recognize error, courage to oppose lies, and strength to stand firm in the truth. May my life be marked by faithfulness to the Father in every thought, attitude, and choice. Show me at every step that true peace, true deliverance, and true salvation are found in obedience. And may nothing be worth more than being at the center of Your will. In Jesus’ name, amen.
