“Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift!” (2 Corinthians 9:15).
The best way for a person to truly enjoy life—with depth, peace, and purpose—is to maintain a complete, willing, and joyful acceptance of the divine will, which is perfect and unchanging in all things. This means recognizing that nothing can come from the source of all goodness, which is God, except that which is, in its essence, good. The soul that understands this learns to rest. It is not offended by the ways of the Lord, does not question His decisions, and does not resist His will, because it understands that everything is being guided by an eternal rule of wisdom and love.
The truly good and humble person lives in harmony with the divine plan because, even in difficulties, they see the hand of a loving Father. They recognize that an infinite and omnipotent Love governs everything—a Love that withholds nothing out of selfishness or jealousy, but gives itself generously to creation. This Love guides, corrects, sustains, and transforms, always for the good of those who choose to trust. And what makes this real trust possible is the certainty that God has revealed to us the secure foundation of life: His powerful Law, given through the prophets and confirmed by Jesus.
This Law is the foundation of happiness. It is the clear, safe, and holy path by which we can live in harmony with the divine will. When the soul stops resisting, ceases to negotiate with its own desires, and humbly accepts following God’s Law in its entirety—without exceptions—then everything good begins to flow naturally from the heart of the Creator into the heart of the faithful. Peace, joy, guidance, and salvation no longer need to be sought as something distant. They come to dwell within the soul that has completely surrendered to the will of the Father. —Dr. John Smith. Pray with me: Dear God, I thank You for teaching me that the true way to live with peace, depth, and purpose is to joyfully accept Your perfect will. Thank You for reminding me that the soul that trusts in Your guidance rests—it does not question or resist, but surrenders, knowing that everything is being guided by an eternal wisdom filled with love.
My Father, today I ask You to shape my heart so that I may live in complete harmony with Your divine plan. May I recognize Your hand even in difficulties and learn to see Your care where I once saw only obstacles. Teach me to trust fully in this infinite Love that keeps nothing for Itself, but gives itself generously to guide, correct, sustain, and transform my life. May this trust grow in me each day, nourished by sincere obedience to Your incredible Law.
O Most Holy God, I adore and praise You because You have revealed to me the foundation of true happiness. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law is like a living current that connects my heart to Yours, causing peace, joy, and salvation to flow into me. Your commandments are like sacred gateways that lead me into harmony with Your will, where everything good ceases to be a distant promise and comes to dwell within me.
