“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze” (Isaiah 43:2).
God would not place you before deep waters or intense fire if He did not know that you could handle it, without it being too much for your feet or for your inner strength. The blessed life is like this: without anxiety about what lies far ahead, without excessive worry about the next step, without rushing to decide the direction or carrying the weight of tomorrow. Instead, it is calmly following the Shepherd, one step at a time, trusting that He knows the right way for you.
This complete trust leads us to understand that we need to submit to the Creator’s brilliant commandments. Satan has only one goal here: to make people disobey God, but anyone can fulfill the commandments if they truly want to please the Lord. God never demands more than His children can offer, making obedience accessible and transformative.
Therefore, decide now to trust the Shepherd and obey His guidance, allowing the Father to bless you and lead you to the Son for a life of true redemption. This daily choice transforms challenges into personal victories and positions you for blessings that flow naturally. Take one step at a time, and see how God takes care of the rest. Pray with me: Heavenly Father, enlighten my understanding so that I may see trials as something You allow because You know I can endure them, without fear of the fire or the waters.
