Daily Devotional: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened…

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

There is immense value in those who have walked a long road, faced real pain, and learned from life itself. These people carry a sensitivity that does not come from books, but from experience, and for this reason they are able to strengthen, guide, and encourage those who come after them. The Messiah knows this path deeply, for He lived with human limitations, felt tiredness, hunger, loneliness, and inner struggle. It is because He went through all this that He understands our weaknesses and knows exactly how to help us.

Within this journey, the wise commandments of the Creator show us how to turn experience into service. The Law of God teaches that spiritual maturity is not just knowing, but obeying and leading others with responsibility. God entrusts more to those who learn to walk according to His will and apply what they have lived to build up lives. Obedience enables us to be instruments of guidance and support on the path of others.

Today, the call is to use everything you have learned along your journey. Do not keep to yourself the lessons that life has taught you. By living according to the living commandments of God, you become a safe guide for others and a useful servant in the hands of the Father. This is how He blesses, strengthens, and sends the obedient to Jesus. Adapted from J. R. Miller. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows.

Pray with me: Lord, I recognize that every experience I have lived had a purpose and was not in vain. Use everything I have learned, including the pain, to bless other lives. I want to be sensitive to the needs of those who walk after me.

Give me discernment to guide with humility, strength to obey with perseverance, and love to serve without reservation. Guide my words, attitudes, and decisions. May I be faithful to the calling You have placed before me.

Oh beloved Lord, I thank You for not distancing Yourself from our weaknesses and for understanding the human journey. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law is like a living school that shapes experienced and obedient hearts. Your commandments are safe paths that teach me to help others with truth and compassion. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
