“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who trust in Him” (Nahum 1:7).
This is a great truth: the Lord sees our pain with compassion and is ready not only to sustain us, but also to transform every suffering into good. When we look only at the difficulties, we fall into discouragement. But when we look to God, we find comfort, patience, and strength. He is able to lift our heads in the midst of the storm and make life blossom, even in the most difficult situations.
To experience this victory, we need to live in faithfulness to God’s dazzling Law and His splendid commandments. They teach us to trust, to persevere, and not to lose hope. The Father reveals His plans to the obedient and, even in the midst of trials, guides those who surrender to His will. Suffering is not able to erase the blessing that comes from obedience.
Therefore, do not be discouraged. The Father blesses and sends to the Son those who remain steadfast in His sublime Law. He transforms tears into growth and pain into salvation. Pray with me: Dear Father, I lay before You my pain and afflictions. I know that You see me with compassion and never leave me alone in the storms of life.
Lord, teach me to keep Your dazzling Law and Your splendid commandments even in the midst of difficulties. May I not complain, but learn to trust that You are able to turn my suffering into blessing.
Oh, beloved God, I thank You because in afflictions You sustain and lift me up. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law is the firm anchor of my life. Your commandments are like rays of light shining in the midst of darkness. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
